Bill paid manually but Direct Debit still taken?

I paid my bill off through the app but today I checked my bank account and its taken it out twice. Can't ring Cs line as it shut what can I do.

Hello @Awyatt345,

A Direct Debit is taken 14-days (or just after) the bill is produced.

Some bank apps don’t report this until a few days later once the funds have fully cleared.

If you make a manual payment after this payment has taken (but not updated to show in your Bank App) you’ll see 2 payments taken.

1 manual payment and then 1 Direct Debit.

We wouldn’t charge 2 Direct Debits for the same account.

I’ll get someone to PM you with how we can get this resolved.
