Bought a data add-on, still got a text saying I had used 100% of my data

Title pretty self-explanatory - I usually have 0.7 MB data a month, I bought an add-on (1 MB) and it was registered in my account and the charge applied. However I still got a text from iD saying that I had used 100% of my allowance (when I had used all 0.7 MB) and that now roaming charges will apply. 
 

Am I safe to ignore the text - does my add-on actually apply despite what the text says?
