data allowance incorrect

Hello I have just changed my simoaim plan to a 10gb data allowance. But my account says I only get 7.6gb. This is not acceptable to advertise one thing and give another. . Can anyone help?

Hi there @Andyid and welcome to our iD Mobile community here.

 

When you do a Plan Change in the middle of a billing cycle it’s quite normal to get a pro-rata amount of the new tariff allowances until the next billing cycle starts (in which you’ll have the full 10gb in this case).

Likewise you’ll only be charged a pro-rata amount for the time you’re on that new plan.  So you’ll only ever be paying for what you got, and only ever for one plan at a time.

If you had paid a month in advance for your old plan, then any unused amount you’d paid for (due to the Plan Change), will be credited back to you on the next bill.
