Hiya

I've been trying to send a message to 89994 but it will not send, it says 'error 28'.

This is a premium rate number which I am fine with, I need to be able to send and receive messages from premium rate numbers.

I would really appreciate it if someone could get back to me when possible.

Thank you 🙂

Where are the cap and premium settings?

There’s an Edit my capped limit option on the Dashboard of your iD My Account online.

The premium settings are in the My services section of your  iD My Account online.

Good luck.

Where are the cap and premium settings?

You have to enable premium messages and call in setting on the id app to do this

Hey @Blue89,

There's a few things that could be preventing you from sending these messages.

The first and foremost being that your spend cap needs to be increased.

As this is a premium message you're sending, there will be a charge for doing so. The charge varies per subscription. This is around £1.50 I believe.

Try raising your cap in the iD app/account by logging in.

(You may need to power of the phone for up to 10 minutes and restart for this to take effect as there can be a delay for this to be processed).

If this doesn't work still, then check the account features.

If you've got the Premium Messaging bar turned ON, then this will prevent you from sending these messages.

Turn the bar OFF and this should allow you to send the message.

As this is a network change, you'll need to power down the phone as above for up to 10-minutes.

Let us know how you get on.
