Have an Unlimited Plan, but will i be charged if texting texts, pics/vids to / from USA?

I have the month to month unlimited everything plan .  However texts always worry me.  If I send pics or videos on text to other users in the USA, regardless of type of phone or network they have, will I be charged.  Also if people from USA send texts, pics / vids to me will I be charged?

Hi @nparnaby, you’ll be charged for sending any SMS or MMS messages to a United States mobile number, yes. You can always find the most up-to-date charges here - https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/international-and-roaming-charges

The best thing to do would be to download a messaging application like WhatsApp; that way, you can use your Wi-Fi connection or mobile data allowance to send messages, pictures and videos, without incurring international charges. Just keep an eye on your data allowance.

There’s no charge for receiving messages.
