A few days ago I was told I had exceeded my data limit, but I didn't know how because I rarely leave the house, where I am connected to home wifi. However I purchased additional data - yet I seem to have still used my allowance and am facing a huge bill. What have I inadvertently done wrong, how can I avoid paying this bill, and what should I do in future to prevent it happening again?
