increase in bills

Hi. I have 3 accounts for my children, which I have had for over a year. They were the lowest plan and were £5 per month each for 1gb data and the bills have never exceeded this amount as I had capped them so they could not go over that amount. Last month I noticed that my usual £15 (for all 3 accounts) was £50! Upon checking each account I notice that 2 accounts had caps for extra usage at £5, hence doubling what I previously paid, and the third was capped at £25. I had never set any of these up - previously I had the option of them using just their 1gb (£5) then that was it until next month! Why has this happened and why was I not informed of these changes?

Hi @katsto

I'm sorry to hear that you have had a shock bill in relation to a cap on your account.

If your cap was always set at £5 then it would be unlikely that it would be automatically changed to £25.
