turns out instead of taking an upgrade I took a new account instead that is the reason for the extra money being paid

I had got rid of the box the new phone came in and was told it could not be returned without the box also I started to use the new phone with the sim from my old one when I asked about keeping my old number I was told that you cant import from one id phone to another so I was told to take out a sim only contract as it would be cheaper but still told I have to keep the new contract even though I wont be using it
