My phone bill is way higher than expected

I am so disappointed in ID mobile. My bill is £51.99 a month, and now I am seeing a charge of £69.09 even though my cap is set to £0 so I can’t go over my monthly line rental. I have been trying to get a hold of someone and my attempts have been entirely useless. This is unacceptable.

Hello @karenwakahiu,

Have you tried viewing the PDF bill?

All of our bills are produced in the app/account 14-days before your Direct Debit date.

Our Bills are PDF files that have a full breakdown fo the charges.

You can view what the charges are for, whether it’s extra out of plan usage, add-ons etc

 

Please note, if you’ve recently:

  • Changed your Direct Debit date
  • Upgraded to a SIM only
  • Upgraded to a handset contract
  • Changed plans

 

These may be the reason why your plan is charged higher despite having a cap of £0.00.

If this is the case, check the dates for the line rental. It’ll likely be because you’re either: billed for a longer period (Direct Debit date change) or have received a credit and re-billed at your new rate /pro-rata line rental (upgrading or plan changing).
