Hello @natak82,

Welcome to the iD Community.

@paul-c has answered this one here.

When you have automatic network selection turned on, your phone will connect to the strongest network available. As Greece is bordered by Turkey, this can lead to a Turkish network being selected unbeknown to you and adding charges to your bill.

If you have a spend cap active, this will kick in and cap at the maximum spend (in this case £5.00).

I think I know the answer. does your phone automatically connect to networks?
most do, as it is the default. Most likely you have picked up a Turkish network in Kos (Turkey isn't in the eu).
It's a common problem on mobile forums. If you set the phone to manual connection, and pick up one of the Greek networks you shouldn't get any more charges.
The phone in automatic mode picks up the strongest signal, which ain't necessarily the one you want. And phone masts are no respecter of borders i'm afraid.
Here are the charges detailed for data in turkey
Internet and Data (per MB)£1.50
