Why am I going to be charged line rental for leaving at the end of my contract?

Why am I to be charged a fee (£17.64) for the supposed line rental left on my contract. This is the last month of my contract and I plan to leave ID Mobile, but it says that I will be charged for my final month, which I understand but also for line rental. I don’t know what this is for and when I look it up on the internet it seems to say that line rental only applies to landline. Also why should I pay anything extra to my contact, especially as I will have finished it?

Please can someone explain the reason for this because I don’t think I should be charged for this?

PS ID Mobile it would be nice if you provided some sort of direct customer help, even a live chat would be helpful.

Hi @michael123,

When requesting to leave, we require 30-days notice so you will be billed for that 30-day period. If you are moving to another network, you can give them a PAC code or a STAC code which will end the plan once used and you’ll only be billed up until the last day of your 24-month period.

We have a live chat service which can be found here.
