Wrong country when roaming

So I'm on holiday in an EU country, my phone initially connected to the correct signal and all was fine however it then switched to a none EU neighbouring country and charged me £60 for data used in the space of three hours. What happens in this situation?

Hi @DanielleM

I would recommend to contact ID Mobile Live Chat team on this page here. They will be able to investigate it for you and act accordingly.

Hi @DanielleM,

It is unfortunate to see that this has happened. Often, a phone will automatically switch to the strongest network when roaming, and the only way to stop this would be to perform a manual network search to choose the one you need.

I believe that we have been in contact with you via Social Media about this already, but please get back in touch with us if you need further assistance.

Ryan
