Direct Debit Change to Instruction - need answer

I pay a SIM only contract by Direct Debit monthly. Each month I receive a letter from ID informing me that they have received and processed the request to update my Direct Debit details. I have never requested any change and my monthly payments are being made. Need advice please as this is getting very frustrating!
