Hi, I have been with ID mobile for over two years. I entered into a contract to pay monthly for two years. Now I have reached the end of two years I would like to remain with ID but go to a cheaper deal as I have paid off the cost of the phone. Please can someone assist. Thanks, Patrick
Good afternoon, So I have a problem that I need your help with. It appears that I have a default on my credit file from IDmobile. Its from a sim only 30 day plan that I had over three years ago. I never used the sim in the end as it was was bought for my business and never needed, I cancelled the DD and thought that was that, I pretty soon realised that it wasn't as simple as that when I received a letter with an outstanding amount, I paid that and thought no more of if… Fast forward to last month and I’m informed that I can't get the mortgage that I’ve applied for due to my (what I thought was immaculate) credit score, so I obtained a copy of it and discovered that after I had cleared my account, the monthly charge hadn't been stopped… The problem with that is that I had also moved house in that period and despite having mail redirected, I was not made aware of any outstanding balance. Despite the fact that I have even been using a new ID plan in the meantime. I have always worked ha
Search: "I phoned carphone warehouse, where I purchased iD mobile and got the sim from them, I called but got no answer!!, so I hung up.. So why then I get charged 52pence!?, and I asked that day, can I phone any number!?, was told yes, so I guess that it is not!!!, sad thing is I called them who got me onto id mobile, I think this is wrong, even if there number is.. 08435380883, I can't blame carphone warehouse in a way, as even in shop it didn't say unlimited texts, £3.99 bundle... Surely id mobile should recognise carphone warehouse number, especially when I called for advice, then onto the number sequence, then waited for 1min, so even as well technically I was never spoken too still get charged 52pence, it's not a lot it's the principle of the matter, I called to a place who gave me id mobile what they sell in shop!?, and I get charged.. I'd mobile sort that problem issue out, I can see then the point, if its a business number not related!?, I wouldn't be bothered about 52p... Tha
Ok, very angry as I type. Been on hold with customer services for 30mins and have been passed to three different people with no explanation. Your customer service is shocking. I ordered a SIM a few days ago but have not yet received it. I received an email this morning saying my account is set up and I willl be charged. Where is my SIM? And why are you charging me before it’s activtaed? this is not a good start folks.
I have tried paying my bill several times over the course of a month, the app isnt working, the website isnt working and i can't get through the phone line to pay it that way either? Everytime i have tried it comes up saying "Payment Failed" even though i definitely have money in my account. A debt collection agency has now taken charge of this, but it isnt my fault? How can i get this sorted and also not pay for the month I've not had my services due to ID Mobiles apparent server issues?
My daughter has a phone contract with iD. She has not exceeded her monthly allowances for calls, messages or data. Her basic monthly charges are now showing as being £10.38 as opposed to the £9.99 which we were paying when the contract began in September 2017. We have had no notification of any planned increases in tariff so why are we now paying more?
My bill is outstanding and I'm struggling to pay the bill at the moment due to the Covid-19 as I'm in isolation, its not affordable to pay the bill at the moment, buying food shopping which has increased more with my children being at home 24/7 as there not in school till September now ,so more meals are being prepared. As my phone as being restricted and cut of I am now unable to be in contact with my family as I can't t just go an visit now for a while, and it's hard enough not being able speak to them properly. So I'm just wondering if I'm able to get any help with my bill. we are all in the same situation and dealing with some life changing circumstances hope all is ok and staying safe. And look forward to a response
You can view your final bill in the My iD App or My iD Online. Your bills are available to view for 6 months after your disconnection date. If you’re not registered for the My iD App or My iD Online, your final bill will be sent to you in the post. You should receive it no more than 5 days after you disconnect. ADD-ON packages are advertised as being valid for a period of 30-days but in practice they become virtually unusable as soon as the current billing period expires. This is because they are always applied After the current months allowance. This is fair and correct for the month in which the add-on is purchased but is grossly unfair when it rolls over to the next billing period. I can only use any of the remaining addon allowance if I use ALL of my monthly allowance prior to the expiration date of the addon and if I do achieve that my remaining allowance will plummet to zero when the addon does expire risking unexpected out-of-plan usage charges or forcing me to purchase yet another addon to cover the remainder of the month. The correct and fair approach would be to treat the rollover of an addon the same as a data rollover and to use it prior to using the current months allowance. This would allow me to use all of the remaining allowance and still have the whole of the current m
I receieved my bill tgis month and found id been charged for premium rate text messages. I called id mobile who then put a cap on my account and disabled premium rate services. My issue is i havnt actually recieved any premium rate texts yet id mobile say i have to pay for them. I had a call feom. Customer services yesterday who said i had to pay for the service id recieved, i advised yes i get that but i havnt recieved anything and that id mobile are allowing us to be scammed in this manner. What are my rights? What can i do? Customer services hung up on me so i doubt they will help.. Should i try trading standards or ofcom?
Tesco Magazine have regular text competitions using short code 60110 charged at standard rate, so a bargain at 10p a go. This has worked fine for last couple of years and last year I actually won a grand from one of these compos! However trying to enter a compo today using 60110 and getting the dreaded error 28 can not send error message, which I have got on numerous occasions before entering the gadget show compo which uses a short code 65555 and idmobile has had to unblock the number. Seems like idmobile have issues with short codes and just block anyone from using them until someone complains and then reenables them, but inevitably they just get blocked again in the future. So could someone please sort out 60110 so we can enter this months tesco comp, ideally as soon as possible as its a one per day entry and compo ends on 21st April. I see someone else has same issue but she put her post in delivery section so probably wont get looked at.
Hi, My sim stopped being able to make calls, it will still connect to 4g just fine, but when i try and dial my phone stays silent for about 15 seconds then just pops up with "call ended" I've tried my sim in a different phone, restarting everything, etc. Can a member of staff please contact me so this may be resolved, as obviously it can't be done over the phone and your online chat is NEVER there. I am physically and mentally handicapped and require my handset for emergencies, this lack of service or customer support is shocking.
Hi there, quite a few members of my family have been hit by the scam of a premium rate number texting you (costing you £4.50) and there is nothing you can do about it bar going to the regulator - but they haven’t been able to do anything about the issue either. The advise is to ask your network provider (ID) to prevent you from being able to receive calls and texts from premium rate numbers. In my settings I have set that I can’t send preium rate texts but I want to make sure I don’t receive (and get automatically charged) calls or texts from these numbers. I can’t get hold of ID network through calling and the live chat is always shut so I’ve come here to get the answer and hopefully help others too. Thanks, Emily.
