Wong amount of data issued

Monthly allowance is 8gb, this gets rolled over to 16gb. Information shown clearly within app. However on my daughters handset under settings it's only allowing her 2gb. I increased her allowance via the app from 2 to 8 in August. Been charged & paying the higher ammount, but dont seem to be receiving the data.

App is on my phone (also ID)

Hey Emma, I believe I already responded to you on Facebook regarding this, but just in case you didn’t see it:

“Hi Emma, the number shown in the phone's settings has no bearing to your actual allowance. The correct number is shown in the iD Mobile app. You should be able to edit the number shown in the phone's settings to reflect. - Rory”

Essentially, the number in your phone is just a counter, as your phone has no way of knowing how much data your network provider allocates to you. It’s just a system tool for keeping track of usage and you could theoretically enter any number you wanted here.
