it might sound so basic but making sure your camera lens is clean makes a difference to image taking.
When holding your phone, pull your elbows in together & rest them against your torso. This will help keep the phone steady when taking a picture, which should result in a sharper & better quality image.
Phones are called smartphones for a reason. Remember to use the built-in auto features to help add depth, focus and clarity to your photos. Many phones will even come up with tips in this mode to help improve your photos!
Try to keep your hands as steady and still as possible. Tap the subject you are taking a picture, this adjusts focus and brightness. Be aware of what is going on in the background and composition.
My top tip for phone photography is to focus on your lighting and ensure that the subject is being well lit with the sun behind the phone.

Try to always shoot in landscape

Press the screen on the main area that you want to focus and then take the photo.
Userlevel 2
Aim to be at a location for the hour after sunrise or before sunset, for a natural golden glow.
My tip would be to keep things natural - use natural light wherever possible, and if taking photos of people, take them unposed - some of the best photos i've taken or received have been spontaneous and natural.

Oh, and check your settings (especially if you have a curious toddler at home!)

Don't always put the subject in the centre, slight offset to one side creates a much more pleasing image in most cases.
Userlevel 3
Change you shooting height. Try getting down low instead of taking everything from head height. Makes a world of difference!

My top tip is to adjust the settings manually (exposure, focus etc.) so you can create an artistic photo that lends to editing very well. Adjusting the RGB configurations can make sunrises and other coloured light saturated environments really pop.

Of course, the real "one rule" is that there is no "one rule" - every scene, camera, subject is different. Take loads of pics and be brave about only keeping the best ones

For the Hauwei camera stability is key IMHO! With a 40mp camera any movement will show up as blur. If you can't use a mini-tripod, lean against something, if you can't do that tuck your arms against your body, breathe in and SNAP!

M
When photographing small objects close up brace your phone against a table or other steady surface. This will improve the sharpness of the photo, but also allows the camera software to focus the image more accurately and adjust the processing giving better contrast and more accurate colours.
Before venturing out make sure camera settings are correct for particular settings
Keep Camera on Home Screen to capture instant pictures and so not to miss any moments!
Instant pics are best! ...dont fuss about with arranging or fixing you will lose the moment!
Most of all enjoy!

For landscape photos, create some interest perhaps with people in the foreground.

Hi everyone, have fun experimenting with your camera, natural light is best but check what your camera can do, take as many photos as possible to develop your style. Always respect people's privacy, so be careful when you take your photo's and ask permission when nessecary. Choose areas you are interested in and try something new. Enjoy!

My top tips are always use natural lights. And try to keep your hands steady not shaky. 😁
It's simple... WIPE YOUR LENS! 🙂
