Many phones have Qualcomm Quick Charge built-in, which can charge your battery up to 50% with just a 30-minute charge. Some phones can charge faster still, with their own boosted charging onboard.

Huawei P20 Pro
The Huawei P20 is a great phone, with its awesome triple-lens camera. But if you are somewhat snap happy, the chances are you’ll be draining your phone’s battery pretty quickly. Well, The P20 Pro uses Huawei’s Supercharge technology, which gives you a 58% charge in half an hour. The experts at Tech Radar go even further, saying that it “takes 45 minutes to get from 0% to 80%.”
Nokia 8
There’s a lot going for the Nokia 8. Not least its front and rear cameras which take dual selfies of you and your subject – forget the selfie, Nokia is all about the ‘bothie’. It’s power, takes great 4K video and is a fast charger to boot. With Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 on board, you’ll get half a charge in half an hour.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium
Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 is also present and correct right here on the Xperia XZ. And that’s just as well, as you’re likely to drain your battery as you record great super slo-mo clips clips, then upload them to social media – not to mention the videos you’ll be in amazing 4K. With a quick charge, you’re back in business.
Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus
Another great addition from Samsung, with a stunning Quad HD display and a camera that takes terrific photos even in low light. And with quick charging, well, that makes the S9 and S9 Plus even better.
Apple iPhone X
Great 5.8-inch Super Retina display, check. An immersive viewing experience when watching movies and playing games, check. Face ID for fast unlocking, check, check, check. And as iPhone X has Quick Charge, and supports wireless charging too, you can get back to doing more of the things you love.
LG V30
Our final pick is an entertainment winner – the LG V30, which is available exclusively from Carphone Warehouse.
