Cancel my SIM only - as it fails to work in my phone.

I ordered this on Monday, but the SIM doesn't work in my phone at all, it just says "Insert SIM" so its completely useless, how do I cancel it ?

Hello Paul,

Have you tried the SIM in a different handset at all?
Which phone are you using the SIM inside?

If you purchased it via Carphone Warehouse, contact them for a return, else, you can email us on  and we'll be able to help get this cancelled.

Thanks, I managed to get the chat working today and spoke to someone who should be cancelling it, I'll bear the above in mind, just in case. JFYI, my phone is an old Samsung J700, it just doesnt work in it at all.

Hi Paul, whilst we would expect most phones to be able to read the SIMs, if it's not 3G compatible then it won't connect onto iD Mobile anyway.

The phone is 3G compatible, and works fine on Virgin (EE).

Anyway, I cancelled it, and thats gone through ok - but presents a new issue.

Apparently I have a "Final Bill" - but no way to view it.

The phone isnt a smart phone, so telling me to use the "app" is pointless.
I dont have an online account because to register the stupid system wants to send a code to my phone.
Since the SIM doesnt work in my phone - thats just completely useless - who's bright idea was that ?

I tried the chat, but "Isaiah" has not responded to me for over 20 minutes now.
