Cancel rolling 30 day data only contract

I took out an 30 day unlimited data sim in October but would like to cancel or suspend going forward. I may wish to reactivate it on a random basis for a month at a time, when I need mobile internet but don’t wish to continue every month.

The app shows my term ends this month but gives me no option to cancel/suspend.

Nobody is available on live chat and I’d like to get this sorted. Can someone help please?

Hi @ibodge,
 

If you’re not moving to another network, and just want to end your iD Mobile plan, you can do this on the iD Mobile app or My Account online. Please note that if you choose to end your plan this way, you will be subject to a 30-day disconnection period which means you will continue to pay for your iD Mobile services for the next 30-days.

To cancel your plan without moving to another network, simply:

Log in to the iD Mobile App or My Account online
Click on the “My Account” link from the dashboard
On the ‘Manage my plan’ tile, select ‘Thinking of leaving’
Select ‘Start Switching Now’
Click “End your iD Mobile plan” and follow the instructions

Can I choose a smaller/cheaper tarrif?

I’ve tried to cancel but it says contact us and then when I click on the link, I get the following message:

“https://www.porting.idmobile.co.uk/AutoSwitchingCommunity is under construction. Stay tuned.”

Can you clarify, do you want to cancel the contract or did you want to change your plan?

The switching link is for porting your number.

You can do this by going to https://my.idmobile.co.uk/

 

Registering an account (if not done already)

Logging in

Click My Services > Keep your number.
