I want to end my SIM-only plan and happy to lose the number?

Hi,

I have a sim only contract with 1 month notice.  the ID App or web login are not providing me the facility to confirm the cancellation.  I do not want to keep the number, I just simply wish to cancel immediately.  My phone number is REMOVED.

Hi @tedmew,

When on a one-month rolling plan, you should have the option to end your plan within the account settings; is this not showing?

Thank you for your reply.  The nearest I have got is through the phone app.  I click on ‘my account’, the ‘thinking of leaving’, then ‘start switching now’.  This gets me to a menu called ‘leaving iD’.  The bottom option is ‘end your iD mobile plan’.  When I click this i get a message screen (+mobile text) stating the total amount of line rental left on the contract is £1.61.  At the bottom of this screen it says please contact customer services www.idmobile.co.uk/contact-us.  When I click on this i get a message stating https://www.porting.idmobile.co.uk/autoswitchingcommunity is under construction.

 

I want this message to be acknowledged by iD Mobile of my cancellation of today’s date.  can someone from Id Mobile do this for me?

Why iD Mobile?
