Request PAC after already cancelled contract

Hi, I'm working in Australia for a year and, similar to another thread in this forum, I wish to keep my number active for when I return. It seems the cheapest way to do this is do get a PAYG sim with another provider and have someone send one text every 6 months to keep it active.

I have already set my account to cancel at the end of the month but I didn't initially request the PAC. Is there any way to request this online? I am already in Australia so it will be difficult for me to call the customer service number without incurring international costs. Or am I able to get someone in the UK to request this on my behalf? I assume there will be issues giving out information to someone that is not the account holder.
