Have you just received a new SIM from us? Then this is the place to find out what to do next. It all depends on whether your SIM is for 1) a new connection, 2) an upgrade, or 3) a replacement. Hi, I have an iPhone 7 and when I click on show caller ID, it just shows a spinning wheel. Usually I turn my phone on and off and it goes away, I have tried turning it on and off, soft reset, network reset, closed all apps, enabled Siri etc and nothing seems to be working. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I have a Huawei P20 Lite & my text messages occasionally won't send & a message pops up to say "service not activated on network" I have tried googling the answer to no avail, live chat is busy so can't get on & settings or message settings aren't any help from what I can tell...help please 🙈
I've received my new SIM it works fine in spare phone I have, Motorola G4, but if I put it in my phone, an LG nexus 4 (yes vintage running android 4.4) I get this message every time it powers on "2549 The terminal cannot be configured remotely, please contact Customer support for further assistance" The nexus 4 phone is working with the iD SIM, I've placed and received calls ok, and receiving texts and data. But on every power on it gets this message. I noted the Motorola on powering up received a configuration update related to services an the network. It could be this is related to it sending updates go older phones making them 'aware' of the iD network, and my venerable nexus 4 is too old to understand these messages. Can anyone from iD technical support please comment on this. Richard
We know things are a little uncertain at the moment and bills can be frustrating or confusing at the best of times, it’s never felt more important to be aware of what we are spending and how we can be in control of it. So, here’s everything you need to know about your iD Mobile bill, in one place to help. The Basics Your bill is produced once every month on your billing date, your billing date is the last day of your billing month. Your billing month is the period of time you have you have your allowances for, for example this could be the 15th of one month to the 14th of the next month. Where can I view my bill? You can view and download your current and previous bills by logging in to the iD Mobile app and going to the 'Billing' page. We’ll text you when your new bill is ready to view. I need help understanding what my bill means If you are unsure of what different things on your bill mean or you are unsure of the layout of your bill, you can head here and see an annotated
If you’ve got an iD Mobile plan, you can buy add-ons. But what types of add-ons are available? How do they work? And why do you need them? Good questions. Let us explain, in our complete guide to add-ons.
Why would I need to buy an add-on?
Add-ons are a great way of giving yourself more minutes or data. Hopefully, you’ll be on an iD Mobile plan with enough allowances to get you by each month. But things can change. For example, if there’s an unmissable new show out on Netflix and you can’t help binge-watching it on your daily commute, that could eat up a lot of data. And if you think you’ll run out before your monthly allowances will refresh, we’d recommend that you buy an add-on. Here’s why… Buying an add-on works out cheaper than racking up those dreaded out-of-plan charges. For example, a 100MB data add-on will only cost you £1.50. On the other hand, if you don’t buy an add on, use up all your data, and then use an extra 100MB, you’ll be charged £10.24. Qui
I have an iPhone SE with iOS 13.1.3. WiFi Calling has stopped working. I have tried all the suggestions ie turning WiFi Calling off and on, resetting the network, rebooting the phone. All to no avail. I know it’s not an issue related to our WiFi/internet service as my wife’s iPhone 5s on a BT contract can make WiFi calls perfectly well. Any suggestions please?
I have a new iD SIM but wanted to port my existing Vodaphone number across. I got a PAC from my Voda and filled in the form on iD to port the number. Today, my Voda SIM is deactivated and I received an SMS from iD to say “Good news! You’ve transfered your number to iD...” BUT alls calls and texts are still going out from and coming into the number on the Carphone Warehouse recieipt, not the my Voda number? I’ve restarted the phone, but no change. I’m on Android.
Since I got my new upgrade for my phone my snapchat no longer works on my mobile data. It works on WiFi but not mobile data. Idk if it is something too do with the sim because I have the same sim from my last contract just changed the plan for the sim and got a new phone. My mobile data is turned on in settings and I have tried a network reset on my phone and deleting the app but nothing has worked. Is there anything u can suggest. i have a iPhone 11
Hi all, Yesterday I bought an unlocked Nokia 7.1 and put my iD SIM in it. It worked fine in the evening, but today (starting around noon) I occasionally get these odd notifications that you can see in the first screenshot I have attached: "CP Client New provisioning message" If I then tap on the notification, it then comes up with another message, which can be seen in the second screenshot: "New Provisioning Do you want to apply new configuration?" With options for "Postpone", "Delete" and "OK". If I tap on OK, I get a prompt for a PIN (screenshot 3). It will accept any PIN there, as long as it's 4 digits. These notifications pop up about every half hour, I think, and they're rather irritating. I've looked into solutions to stop it from happening (for example the instructions here: https://community.phones.nokia.com/discussion/comment/25837/#Comment_25837 which can also be found here: https://candid.technology/how-to-stop-provisioning-message-cp-client-nokia/ and on various other s
I recently got an iD sim card and transferred my old number over. I can make calls but text messages say ‘failed to deliver’ but the recipient then receives the text 3 times. The phone is an iPhone SE. When I go into message settings it says it is sending and receiving messages to the number that was originally on the sim.
For the last few days I have had a problem viewing videos on Britbox. I can generally navigate the Britbox site OK - it is just when trying to play a video that the problem arises. The screen locks with the “waiting” circle and eventually gives the Britbox error message “Sorry, something went wrongWe are currently experiencing issues playing your video. Please try again later.”This problem does not happen when using Britbox from other networks (EE is file) but it has been happening consistently now on Id Mobile for the last few days. The only time it has worked on Id Mobile in the last few days is when I was away from by usual location. I was in Bridport and it worked there. I noted the ip address was 18.104.22.168 Once it had worked in Bridport it continued to work for a time at my usual location and I noted that it was still using the 22.214.171.124 ip address Since then it has not worked and the ip address is different (all commencing with 92.40.168 or 92.40.169).

Hi all, I have a Moto G5 with Android 8.1.0. I have limited or no mobile reception at my house. Since the last major update I get continual (every ~5 mins) notifications with sound, saying "no voice service at your location". I've tried disabling it through the app settings but it's not allowed and greyed out. It's deeply, deeply irritating as I keep thinking I have messages, and if I'm using my phone to watch videos the notifications mute audio so I miss dialogue. I'm well aware there's no signal; I don't need my phone to tell me. Any ideas? If I have to root my phone, so be it. Cheers!
hi everyone I’ve recently transferred from another network and since coming across I’m finding I can’t send picture messages on my iPhone 6 to anyone on a different type of phone i.e. not iMessage I’ve been speaking with the technical team at ID mobile a few times but don’t appear to be making very quick progress so I thought I would throw the question out there to see if anyone can help? I believe I need to edit my APN settings to get this to work however currently APN isn’t available . When I go into mobile networks I’m go to options APN just simply isn’t there, my only two options or data roaming and 4G. I’ve been through the ID mobile settings checker and it tells me it cannot automatically send me the settings for my phone and the only option available to me is to do this manually but I can’t do this manually as I don’t have the option. Has anyone come across similar and aware of a fix? My previous carriers profile has been deleted and I currently have no profile set up
I had this weird issue on my Xperia Z5, and thanks to @Mohammed from iD Mobile, we have seem to have solved the issue. Essentially the Android OS on certain phones (such as OnePlus and a couple of Sony Xperia's) are having issues connecting to the mobile data, even though the APN's are correct and have been set multiple times. The issues lies somewhere with the implementation that handles the APN configuration which is not being applied correctly, it seems to have been fixed on the Xperia XZ but not on the Z5. If you have attempted to manually remove the current APN settings and added the APN settings manually provided by iD then you can perform this reset. This fix will likely work with other Android phones which have the 'Reset Network Settings' which are located on different settings pages, check out your device's manufacturer support website for assistance finding it. I believe it is a relatively new setting on Android devices, so not all will have it! The network
I generally contact people with texts via whatsapp. However ive sent a couple of texts via the messages.app on my iPhone which the recipient has received however when i receive a message back its just an empty message. Have tried re-setting the iMessage toggle in Settings → Messages on and off but made no difference, and also tried restarting the phone. Am running the latest IOS software on my iPhone 7. Any ideas??
I recently upgraded to a Huawei P20 Lite and it says on the website that VoLTE is supported on the phone but I don't see a VoLTE option in any of my settings, is it an EMUI issue or is it not actually supported
Hi, I've got the P Smart FIG-LX1 C432 variant. With an iDmobile SIM, wifi calling connects, I get the 'iDMobile Wi-Fi Calling' on the status bar, I can make calls over wifi, but I can't receive any calls. The calls just go through to answerphone. I can receive calls as normal without wifi calling. I've tested the phone with an EE SIM card, and wifi calling incoming and outgoing works. Curiously, with the EE SIM, I get 'EE Wi-Fi Calling' on the status bar, plus a VoWIFI icon right next to it. With the iDMobile SIM, I only get 'iDMobile Wi-Fi Calling' but not the VoWIFI symbol. Could that be an indicator of some incomplete wifi calling registration? Has anyone tried iDMobile wifi calling with their P Smart? Thanks!
