My top tip is to adjust the settings manually (exposure, focus etc.) so you can create an artistic photo that lends to editing very well. Adjusting the RGB configurations can make sunrises and other coloured light saturated environments really pop.

Change you shooting height. Try getting down low instead of taking everything from head height. Makes a world of difference!

Don't always put the subject in the centre, slight offset to one side creates a much more pleasing image in most cases.

My tip would be to keep things natural - use natural light wherever possible, and if taking photos of people, take them unposed - some of the best photos i've taken or received have been spontaneous and natural.

Oh, and check your settings (especially if you have a curious toddler at home!)

Aim to be at a location for the hour after sunrise or before sunset, for a natural golden glow.

My top tip for phone photography is to focus on your lighting and ensure that the subject is being well lit with the sun behind the phone.

Try to keep your hands as steady and still as possible. Tap the subject you are taking a picture, this adjusts focus and brightness. Be aware of what is going on in the background and composition.

Phones are called smartphones for a reason. Remember to use the built-in auto features to help add depth, focus and clarity to your photos. Many phones will even come up with tips in this mode to help improve your photos!

When holding your phone, pull your elbows in together & rest them against your torso. This will help keep the phone steady when taking a picture, which should result in a sharper & better quality image.

it might sound so basic but making sure your camera lens is clean makes a difference to image taking.
