how do i get technical help with problems accessing the network? new sim stopped working

Upgraded to new sim only deal a couple of weeks ago. Last two days sim has stopped working. Tried re activating it but told that the sim was already activated. Can’t now make or receive calls or access internet ( when out of WiFi area). Tried putting phone into airplane mode for 30 secs but this didn’t help.

Hi @Sueditch, sorry to hear about this. Have you tried resetting the network settings? If you let me know the make and model of the phone, I can run you through this. 

Also, could you confirm your postcode for me so I can check for any service disruption in your area?

Hi Rory

Thanks for your reply.

I could not access the network as I got a message saying the SIM did not allow access to this network 

However I then read a tip to try removing the SIM and clean it before replacing.

This seems to have worked and all is fine for now !
