im not receiving 4g speeds and I’m on 3G when I’ve been told I’ll be on 4g

Unfortunately 4G speeds cannot be guaranteed in all locations both indoors and outdoors and will vary from different locations.

Do you receive 4G at different locations or are you receiving only 3G everywhere?

Does the coverage checker show solid 4G coverage in your area?

Please make sure your device is 4G compatible with an up-to-date sim card.

Finally please ensure your mobile settings are correct.

If you're on iPhone then go to Settings -> Mobile Data -> Mobile Data Options -> Enable 4G
Make sure that you have "Voice & Data" or "Data Only" selected.

If you're on Android then go to Settings -> Mobile Data (or "connections" on samsung devices) -> Mobile Network -> Network Mode and make sure that "GSM/WCDMA Auto" ("2G/3G/4G Auto" on Samsung) is selected.
