No Service

I changed from o2 PAYG to ID a week ok everything was ok for 2 days since then I have No Service Iǘe tried turning phone off/on same with aircraft mode, tried a friends o2 sim card in the phone & it found the o2 signal right away. Need the phone as we´re going away & need to keep in contact. Cannot talk to anybody or get a human response on online chat. Help please

We did have an issue with data recently, but that has been fixed now. Is the matter still persisting?
