poor signal, faulty SIM

Hi, my daughter's mobile has very weak signal or even no signal and when I transferred SIM into other handset SIM not recognised.  My son also has ID Mobile SIM and he has no issues.  Wondering if somehow it has become faulty.  Looking for your assistance in resolving this issue.

What phones are you using with the iD Mobile SIM’s?

Are all these phones definitely unlocked to be able to use SIM’s from any network?  Or are any of them potentially locked still to only work with the previous network?
