Getting help with poor coverage

Hi, how do I speak to someone or make a complaint about the poor coverage for both calls and Internet?

Hello @Mcshell, you can’t speak to anyone, but you can make a complaint using the online chat service.

Try visiting https://www.idmobile.co.uk/contact-us - you’ll need your customer service PIN to verify your the account holder.

Hi @Mcshell, sorry to hear you’re having trouble with coverage. If this is a sudden drop in coverage quality, try entering your postcode at Three’s network status checker to check for any service disruption in your area.

It’ll also be worth restarting your phone if you haven’t already done so. Power down your phone, remove the SIM and clean the gold contacts. Wait 15 minutes, reinsert the SIM and power the phone back on.

If you’re still having issues, try performing a network reset.

 

Android

Settings > General management or System > Reset > Reset network settings

iPhone

Settings > Reset > Reset Network Settings

 

This will also delete all saved Wi-Fi networks from your phone, so you'll need to set these up again.

If this doesn’t fix the issue, try the SIM in a different handset, or try a different network SIM in your phone. This will help determine whether the issue lies with your phone or the SIM.
