Afternoon all.Does the iD mobile network issue voicemail alert notifications when a message is left?I ported over to iD from EE a good few months ago and it only recently became apparent that when I receive a voicemail my phone (Android) doesn’t notify me. A follow-up chat session today saw an agent tell me iD do not have this alert service. Is this true?SMS text alerts work fine if I enable this. It’s not a problem per se, just a bit odd and unexpected. A chat session yesterday saw an agent create a ticket for me to have the porting-in checked, and swiftly closed as the port work was deemed all good. I had a ticket raised after reading another forum post with the same problem, where someone from iD had suggested it.Just curious. I don’t get many calls so not many messages, so it’s not a problem as such.Jonty.
Its been over a week I am unable to send any text messages. I was told by your support team that I need to switch to 4g as the network in my area " apparently "is "down" or "under repair" God knows. My phone is an Android phone the model is a One plus 3T. Please give some solution to this as I am losing out on certain services I need to message that do not have an option of using social media . And not everybody uses social media to message . So please look into this as we have paid you money for unlimited text message services unless this is your way of frustrating us.
Since I have been an ID Mobile Customer I ha e had poor signal, extremely poor 2-3 bars I have not had any 4G signal at all all the time i have had the sim, I feel hard done by ID Mobile and feel I was offered a service that I am not receiving is there any rules about offering a great service then getting a very poor one,? I mean I feel as if I should be getting money off my bill as they are not keeping their end of the deal up, I was promised good signal with 4G and I got terrible signal with no 4G what so ever, feel really let down by ID Mobile service I understand they piggy back off of three network but this is for no excuse for terrible signal. If you cannot offer a certain signal you should not advertise it as this is complete false advertising. I would advice that ID Mobile piggy back off another company if three network are not giving them enauth signal like o2 giffgaff and tesco mobile are great signals and they both piggy back off o2, ideally I would like this problem to be r
I have no signal at all inside or outside my house unless I am connected to WiFi and it's saying no service even when connected to WiFi. I had to swap phones from my Samsung Galaxy S20 to an Huawei P20 Lite as I had smashed my LCD and not prepared to spend £300 to fix it, my Huawei was on ID as it was my first phone with yous so I don't see any problems why it wouldn't work I've tried the signal checker and it says very good in your area, I've tried restart my phone, airplane mode, turning my phone on and off and still nothing, I need this sorted.
Today Tuesday 7th July I was having a problem with a slow connection I have an unlimited data, texts & phone call SIM Card. I hots pot tether my laptop from my Huawei phone. Had no problems within 2 months. I went onto iDmobile web & started a chat. Followed his directions, he said that there were no problems with signal in my area. Anyway following his instructions suddenly I found that I had internet but could not connect to Microsoft. Removed the SIM & re inserted it my browser was working somehow it returned. Any ideas why this happened. Did I loose signal & it came back or was it another issue? Any information gratefully received because without my SIM working or whatever the problem is I am totally out of touch. Couldn’t contact anyone by phone no numbers for iDmobile very bad.
So I received my new Oppo X2 Pro last week and got all set up with my number transferred across. Yet message s were still coming through on my old phone. I discovered that in the messages app, in settings under chat features I had chat features enabled which says use WiFi or data for messaging where available. I have disabled it on my old phone, but my new phone is sat saying it needs to verify my number. Any idea why this isn't working? It's been trying to verify all day with no luck.
I’ve not been able to send messages for two days now. It does say Emergency calls only on my phone. The internet says the network for ID is Three, although it shows, as above, Vodafone. In doors at present so connected both to internet and mobile data. I get Not Registered on Network when I try to ring someone but can access the internet. So the phone connect seems not to be working. Help would be appreciated.
My phone has been out of action for weeks. I've been getting a message at the top of my screen stating "emergency calls only", I try to make a call but I keep getting "not registered on network".I’ve been using my phone for over a year with no problems, suddenly this happens. I upgraded my plan from £14.99 to £15.99 in the hope that this would make a difference, but no.On the 8th December, I recieved a text from Id mobile - "Good news! Your new SIM card is now in the process of being activated. The SIM should be activated shortly, but this can take up to 24 hours. We'll send you a text message to confirm as soon as the activation is complete".- I never requested a new sim card nor an activation. I have not recieved a sim card nor a confirmation text.I can’t get throught to Livechat either! Could the ID team please urgently resolve this problem.
I got a new phone so gave my old Iphone 5 to my kid and purchase PAYG Sim card. It took a while to get this set up and activated. We live in a major town with excellent phone signal everywhere but iD Mobile signal is barely one bar but mostly “No Service” (but parents contract phones with O2 and Vodafone have full service, 4 bars). WiFi Calling is enabled but even that doesn’t stay on and goes to “no service” as we move through the house (wifi still on and good strength). I tried everything suggested here, but made no difference https://community.idmobile.co.uk/coverage-24/i-have-no-service-30022 I spoke to customer service and they say it should be working and it must be something wrong with the phone. I used this phone myself up to a few days ago for years and it was nothing wrong with it. Any other ideas? Has anyone had similar issue and found a solution? Thank you
Hi all, My wife and i went abroad for several weeks starting on the 8th of September. As soon as we left the UK we both were unable to make calls or receive calls. Luckily I had a sim card for a different network which worked as soon as it was put into either phone. My wife's phone when she tried to makes calls went straight to this message: Your service does not allow access to this number. The message I got on my phone: Your currently unable to make calls as you have reached your cap limit. We are both on pay as you go sim cards, we put a £10 bundle on each phone every 30 days. We phoned customer support many times, followed their instructions which they text to us. we were finally told we had to go to our local store, even though they knew we were in Spain. On returning to the UK we went to our local carphonewarehouse, they spent over an hour trying to fix the problems while they were on the phone with customer support. They decided we needed new sim cards. New sim cards ar
I changed from monthly contract to a SIM only deal in early October. SIM worked ok at first and then started cutting out from network . After looking on iD community I tried removing SIM and cleaning it. This seemed to be successful and then a few days later same problem occurred. Further research told me to try switching off the phone (Motorola E5) and rebooting. Again this corrected the problem for a few days. Now I keep getting a notification that I have no connection with the network and after a few minutes it is connected again. This is happening all the time. Most annoying. Is it the SIM which could be faulty ? Please can you help ?Sue D
Iv had my phone from ID for over a year now.. personal phone used as back up for work as i work out and about and need good internet connection . These last 4 ish months iv noticed my signal keeps dropping.. Keeps showing H+ on my phone, so rather poor. But before the period I was very happy with the service.. I did see about that time the THREE the carrier network were having issues so i left if a few months to see if it would be resolved. Iv got the Huawei P smart. I try rebooting, turning data on a off.. occasionally works..
The past week I’ve been unable to make calls, send texts or use mobile data. Yet I can receive calls and texts. Tried changing the APN settings with Id on live chat to no avail, who then suggested I take it to a shop. Took it in today, they said probably a duff sim, so done a sim swap there and then for me, came home, waited for the sim to change and I’ve still got the same problem. I’m guessing Id have screwed up my settings somewhere maybe? I’m a loss. Any ideas please?
I got sold the contract in carphone warehouse end of 2020, they said I would have full 4G coverage in my area. Well as we on lockdown I have been using my home broadband for Internet use but lately that has not been working correctly so I have had to switch to my phone Internet which only shows as a H and no 3G or 4G. I have looked on website and it shows for my area that 3G and 4G is not available in my area. I would not have taken the contract out if I would have known this. As ID is not fulfilling the contract that I was originally sold, I should be able to come out if contract? How can I do this. I am happy to return the phone.
