Samsung A52s 5g shows emergency calls only on locked screen but shows signal on unlocked screen.

 

Will not let me access any app as it shows no connection

Hello @ECoulter, have you checked for any network issues or problems using the following page:

http://www.three.co.uk/support/network_and_coverage/network_support

The iD Mobile network uses three’s network infrastructure in the UK and your area might be experiencing some issues due to three’s 5G ‘big-build’ project, or a fault, or emergency maintenance.

Hello @andewhite - thanks for the info - it was exactly right - it was a network issue.  (what confused me was it was still showing signal on my phone!)

Okay thanks @ECoulter - the signal strength mimic can be confusing, because in emergency mode it shows signal strength available for the emergency call (if that makes sense).

Anyway, glad you know what’s happened.
