Unable to receive SMS from short number

I need to receive an access code from my overseas bank to access online banking, but I am not receiving it when they send it.  The bank have asked me to check whether you (ID) are blocking SMS from short numbers.  If this is the case, how do we resolve it?

Hi @Steve Fuerteventura,

We don’t block shortcode numbers so there should be no reason why it’s not being sent to your phone. Has the bank confirmed that the message has been sent to you successfully from their side?

Hi Ryan,

Yes the bank have confirmed this.  Could it be a problem with the settings on my phone? It’s a Samsung Galaxy J3.
