£300 upfront Payment taken, waiting on order confirmation email

Applied for a iPhone last night £299 upfront which i was happy with had an email last night saying ‘success my order has been placed’ figured there was a 24 hour wait to be notified but checked my bank the upfront was taken earlier on does that mean i have passed whatever checks are made bit puzzling
