conflicting order details

I ordered my new iPhone as a new customer on Thursday & whilst the phone on the website was in stock I then had an email to say it wasn’t & id be told when to expect my phone. 
I checked again online to see lead times for more stock, yet still it said “in stock” & I still have no idea when I can cancel my old contract! 
how do I find out delivery estimate  without being able to create my account as I only have an order number?

any help would be greatly appreciated
