Dislike handset but outside cooling-off period

I have recently upgraded but the handset I have (an Oppo) is not ideal. I wanted a Google Pixel or similar, but was recommended this phone by the shop assistant in Carphone Warehouse. I don't like this phone at all but I'm outside my cooling off period. Is it possible to upgrade the handset to one more suitable? Or change it?

Hey @Meg Shaw, if you’re outside the cooling-off period, there’s not a great deal you can do, unfortunately. The only thing I can recommend is selling the phone privately and using the money to purchase a SIM-free phone of your choice.
