My contact is approximately 2 months old and the camera has developed a fault and has lines through it.
Does anyone know the process for repair and replacement?

I'm no electronics engineer but that looks like physical damage. Hairline cracks on the lens maybe! Have you dropped it? If it is a crack, Google will not fix it under warranty. 😭
Anyway, you're better off seeking a warranty claim direct with Google. A retailer will just forward it to them on your behalf adding to the length of time it takes to be repaired.
