Just Ported number - can't send texts

I bought my Sim on Thursday morning and the lady at CPW took my PAC code (as I had it) and made the Porting request on her laptop.
By Sunday it had still not Ported so I did it again on the app and now my old Sim card which is in a "spare old phone" no longer rings but my new phone with the new ID Sim in it has not adopted my old number - do I need to do anything?

Have I confused the system by in effect making 2 porting requests?

Number ported today - can receive texts but can't send - any obvious fix ?

Hi Mohammed - phone working now - only issue is I can receive but can't send texts.

Everything else works well.

Just noticed the “old” Number is still showing on my ID app in my - account.
Could this be the problem and if so how do I fix it?

I've merged your posts into one topic. Please refrain from posting in multiple sections of the community with the same issue if you already have a topic open.

When you call out, what number shows?
If the iD Temporary number is still showing in the app/account, the port may not have fully completed, in which case we'll need to look into this further.

Hi Mohammed - the problem of sending texts and the “old” number showing has now corrected and everything is working fine - many thanks for your support
