New Sim activated but not working

I lost my phone and blocked it.

I went and got a new SIM from Carphone Warehouse.

24 hours later still not working

I lost my phone so i blocked my SIM.

I had a spare phone so went and got a new SIM from carphone warehouse. 

I have acivated the SIM but still no connection and its well over 24 hours.

 

Do i have to unlock the SIM block that I put on my original SIM?

Hi @paul955,

 

Even though it’s a new SIM, the account sounds like it’s still blocked, so whichever method you used to block it, you should be able to do the same to unblock it.

Yes I realised that I had blocked the old sim and that block still applied to the new SIM. As soon as I unblocked in MY SERVICES the phone connected in 5 mins.

Can I ask if you get any error messages when you insert the SIM into the handset?

Also have you tried the SIM in a different handset to see if that works?
