not able to get phone calls or normal messaging

When my phone swapped over to ID mobile from EE IT KEPT SAYING ABOUT you have some many days till your new number lasts. I have done the puc code and follow your directions. Now I can’t get phone calls nor normal messages

What handset are you using @Lesley-Anne Connor?

When did you give your PAC to iD Mobile?

Anyway, get immediate assistance from iD, using their online chat at https://idmobile.co.uk/live-chat.

The iD customer service agents normally work until 8pm on weekdays.

Hey Andy I’m using I Phone and I gave my PAC Number within two days of getting my Id Mobile contract

Okay, thanks @Lesley-Anne Connor.

With your iD SIM card in your Apple iPhone, is the mobile number you want to keep shown in these places:

  1. Settings > Phone > My Number?
  2. Settings > Messages > Send & Receive - START NEW CONVERSATIONS FROM?
  3. Settings > FaceTime - YOU CAN BE REACHED BY FACETIME AT?

Just checked all these and it has reverted to the id mobile number and not melted to my old one

Wow, that’s odd @Lesley-Anne Connor - maybe your number wasn’t ported from EE to iD properly.

Anyway, a couple more things to try - firstly:

  1. Turn your iPhone OFF and remove the iD SIM.
  2. Leave the phone OFF for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Reinsert the SIM and turn ON your iPhone.
  4. Check the three Settings again.

If this fails, then try a network reset on your iPhone:

  1. Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset.
  2. Choose the Reset Network Settings option.
  3. Check the three Settings again.

You may need to re-enter Wi-Fi passwords and Bluetooth pairing after a network reset.
