Phone locked to ID sim

I’ve recently changed from an ID sim only contract to VOXI and it appears my phone is locked on my new VOXI SIM card.

As this phone wasn’t purchased from ID and was bought second hand, i don’t know who to contact to help me unlock my phone.

Please help ASAP if possible!

Hello @ellie123456,

If your phone is locked - which seems to be the case - I think your best option is to contact the mobile service provider that supplied the phone to the previous owner.

Sometimes when you turn on a locked phone, the start-up screen shows the mobile network that the phone is locked to, which might given you a clue.

@andewhite is absolutely right. Only the network who has locked that handset is able to remove it, as per OFCOM guidelines that can be viewed by clicking here.
