iD Mobile do not offer any accidental insurance cover and have no plans to do so in the near future. Use a third part insurer such as protect my bubble if your clumsy.

Are you expecting to get colours other than white in stock soon such as black or mint?

Hi @Dan001, at the time of writing, both the Black and Mint models are in stock and ready for next day delivery.

I had a problem with my phone battery after 3 months and I when to the shop and they said i have  warranty for up to 24 month like my contract  as i am on a 2 year contract  so i am very confused on why i need to have a third party for insurance .

Okay @Jake Lazell, where did you purchase your phone?

iD Mobile don’t include or sell insurance with their handsets - you’d need to get that from a third party.

I doubt there are many, if any, mobile phone insurance policies with battery cover - its going to wear out with use, just like a car tyre.

I suggest looking at the “Mobile Phone Repair” community FAQ.

Hi @Jake Lazell, your warranty covers any issues that might arise from normal usage of the phone - things that aren’t your fault, essentially.

Insurance covers you against things like accidental damage (dropping the phone, for example), loss and theft.

Thank you,

Rory
