Switching to ID mobile

I have moved from a EE sim to an ID sim when I purchased a new contract with an IPhone 12 Pro. I was told to wait until my EE sim read ‘no service’ and then to move over to my ID sim. I am keeping my previous phone number. 
Once the EE sim read no service I changed to my ID sim and since then have never had service. 
I cannot register on the ID app and cannot make or receive phone calls obviously. 
I have read questions on the community and none of the ways to fix it that have come up have worked. 
I really need to use my phone for work and this is getting frustrating as I cannot get help.

Thanks for getting in touch. I am afraid there are some delays with some SIM’s being activated and numbers porting over at the moment. Our team are working on getting this resolved as soon as possible.

I would advise to periodically reboot your phone and hopefully it will activate soon.
