unable to use new phone

Hello. I have a new phone and sim. Although it says the sim should be activated already I am unable to make calls/texts. I have tried activating the sim but it says (the given) phone number is incorrect! 
 

please advise! Thank you.

Yeah, all new iD SIM cards should be supplied activated and therefore work when popped into a phone.

You can’t activate an activated SIM, hence it says (the given) phone number is incorrect!
You might need to ask iD for a replacement SIM.

The fastest way to get this sorted would be to use the iD Live Chat service.

To speak to an iD agent, type “talk to a person” after getting connected to chat.

The iD customer service agents work 9am - 8pm weekdays (and 9am - 6pm weekends).
