Hi,I ported my old number without a problem, but the number originally supplied on the iD SIM still shows on Settings>Phone>My Number, and it says on Messages and FaceTime that I only have a certain number of days left with my old/ported number because it is not associated with this phone.I’ve tried changing the number in Settings>Phone>My Number, but it won’t save the ported number.Any suggestions appreciated! Thanks.
Good Afternoon, I have just switched to ID mobile. I want you to know exactly what to expect when you use your PAC to transfer your number to ID mobile. Use the switch utility here https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/switching-to-idmobile and select keep your number. It is clear that it might take up to 24 to 48 hours to transfer your number as per: But what ID mobile doesn’t tell you is that your number, the one you would like to keep because you had it for a long time, can go offline from 8am to 10pm on the day the number transfer happens. My number has been offline for 4 hours already and as per my conversation with support it will be offline at least 10 hours. I contacted ID mobile support over the chat, there is no way to contact them over the phone. If I wish to talk to someone it will take 3 days for them to contact me. Also I was asked to provide the following: Contact time (3 days wait minimum) A number to contact me on ….. My e-mail address… (Number and e-mail

I've just moved to iD having upgraded to the Samsung S21 5G handset from the S10. The issue is that signal reception (wifi calling or phone) round the house is patchy . When outside the house the reception is between patchy to non-existent. I put the new iD sim card into my old 4G S10 and phone/data reception in the house and outside were good, so clearly not network related.I can see a number of people reporting the same issue online with the S21 and 5G and am wondering if it is a known issue and what the resolution is? My postcode area is DE3.
Pixel 6 Pro arrived today from Google, put my ID Mobile SIM in it....no signal. Put the SIM back in my Pixel 5a, all working.Tried the wife's SIM card, she's also on IDMobile, not working.Tried an EE SIM and a Vodafone SIM in the Pixel 6, all working fine.IDMobile trying to fob me off on that the handset has an issue, that it's network locked. Google saying it's a network issue as it works with the other Sims.Google do not sell network locked phones.Anyone else get this? Or on Three/Smarty? (IDMobile use threes network)

What is MiFi?F.A.Q.
MiFi gives you the power to set up a mini WiFi network with 4G internet speeds. You can connect your tablet, laptop, handheld games console or anything else to it, even when you're out and about. To do this, you need your own MiFi device – it’s a wireless, credit-card sized piece of kit that can easily fit into your pocket. Then just pop a DataOnly SIM into it, and you’ll create a localised WiFi signal that can be shared by as many as 10 internet-enabled devices.
How many people can connect to MiFi at once?
Wireless MiFi lets you connect up to 10 people at once. It's a great option if you're with work colleagues, fellow students or friends who need to stay connected for any reason - work, study or play. To find out more, check out iD Mobile’s MiFi information webpage. It includes details of the products and plans currently available. If you’ve got a comment or question on MiFi, feel free to post it below.
I have gone round in circles with the IDMobile web site and never managed to find a Chat button.my enquiry is relatively trivial but has developed into challenge to contact the company. My wife has a DD of £6.00 the IDMobile bills reflect this but once in February my bank statement shows it took £6.30.I just wanted to ask why and then discovered it is impossible to ask anything.
I have recently taken out a contract with ID and have a brand new unlocked Samsung A52 5g. I need to use wifi calling but I can only guarantee using this in airplane mode as my phone does not show the option to make sure wifi is preferred over mobile. I am told by Samsung that this is something that needs to be enabled by ID as it is something that is embedded in the phone and I need update the carrier settings for this. I have tried talking online to an advisor but they just do not understand what I need and keep telling me my wifi calling is enabled. Tearing my hair out don’t want to leave ID but this is a vital thing for me.
Hello people, what is your pixel 6 battery usage?I am very interested in ‘mobile network standby’ parameter. All pixel 6 users are probably aware of android 12 issues but this thing is just scary. My Pixel 6 just lost 40% of battery during the night. Just by laying on the desk.My mobile network standby is 31% for last 24h.I’ve done all available tricks to save the battery but wonder if you got similar readings.
To get over the poor network signal at home I have bought a second hand (unlocked) Sony Xperia XZ3 to enable me to make calls via WiFi. I checked the phone was on your list of supported handsets and have ensured it is running the latest Android 10 software but there is still no ‘WiFi calling’ option listed in the call settings. I have read that the Sim card must also be compatible. Mine is 5 years old, do I need a replacement?
Until recently my monthly bill was £26.99, part of which (the majority of which, probably) is to pay for the handset, and part of which is to pay for the service. The annual RPI price increase, it seems to me, only makes sense to apply to the part of the monthly charge that relates to the ongoing service. The handset had a particular value at the time my contract started, and that doesn’t change with inflation. It decreases over time if anything. What is the rationale behind applying the 7.8% increase to the entire £26.99 fee? Thanks
Hi, I saw this discussion but am still not clear. My phone, the Oppo Find X2 Pro, is 5G compatible but not listed in the iD 5G handsets. When I signed up with iD I checked and was told that compatible handsets would get 5G. So far I have never seen the 5G symbol appear, and 5G is not listed under Preferred network type in the phone settings. Before I pick this up with Oppo, can anyone confirm whether they are getting 5G from iD on the Oppo Find X2 Pro, whether the SIM/network drives the 5G option availability in the phone settings, or should it be there anyway, and it is missing because of a phone issue? Thanks
My number has apparently been successfully ported from O2 yesterday. I got a text from ID to say this was complete. My calls and texts all working fine. Only issue outstanding is that I can’t activate Facetime or iMessage. Continually get the message “An error occurred during activation. Try again”. It has been doing this for about 30 hours now.I can sign into iMessage via my Apple ID and send a message that way, so I know iMessage works. People are just receiving messages from my email address rather than my phone number, so at least I know iMessage works in that respect. It just won’t activate for my phone number now, which I need it to.Steps I have tried (basically everything that an internet search suggests):I have tried switching off and on iMessage and Facetime several times. I have reset my network settings on my phone a few times. I have tried another SIM in the phone. It activates fine. I have restarted the phone several times. I have contacted Apple and they have said that ev
Hi All,I have a Moto G50 5G only had it 3 days, and have an issue with the WiFi calling availability. The phone seems to only have this available at random times and most of the time it just doesn't show it available and as I live rural then I have no reception. I have used it on this phone but on the odd occasion It has been available. The phone is update, I have reconnected the WiFi, the signal to WiFi is excellent, the internet is excellent, I have restarted my phone, and access point many times, booted the phone in safe mode and still nothing. Any suggestions or help otherwise I will have to return the phone :(
I recently ported my number from a different provide to iD mobile. I can send a receive iMessages on my original and correct number but settings states that number is due to be removed in 19 days (was 30 days). It states the number is registered to my Apple ID but not to the SIM card. In the section where I can view my number, I can see my original number and the temporary number I had when porting. I can’t seem to be able to remove this at all.I have tried turning iMessages and FaceTime on and off and restarting the phone.Any ideas?
HIJust ported in on Friday. Only a single contact in my phone will Imessages work. The rest of my contacts who have Iphone only text messages work. I have tried this from the ForumSometimes an iPhone will not automatically update after a number port has happened. Please try the below steps and let us know how that goes.1) Turn off iMessage (Settings > Messages)2) Restart your phone (by pressing and holding the on/off button)3) Tap Settings > Phone > My Number and confirm that it is correct. 4) If it is not correct, please enter the correct number5) Turn iMessage back to On (Settings > Messages)6) Finally, go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and see if the correct number is displayed under “Start new conversations from:”. Made no difference I then did a factory reset and deleted all the data from my phone and restore from back up. Made no difference. Still only a single contact will Imessage work. Seems to be a lot of people having t
Have recently ported my number into iD Mobile and have been unable to make or receive Wi-Fi calls on my iPhone 12 Pro. It used to work on my phone with my previous provider, EE.I’ve tried all the suggestions on here, resetting network settings, removing SIM etc.Seem to be a number of users with similar issues. This was particularly irritating while on holiday in the Scilly Isles over the last couple of weeks. If it matters, my home ISP is Zen on an FttP connection.
Do I need a new SIM card for 5G on Motorola G50 ? This model is listed as compatible in your 5G phones list and your coverage checker shows 5G is available in postcode LE2 4PA. When I go into phone settings, the preferred network types offered are only 4G/3G/2G although since changing to my Motorola Moto G7 Power to a G50, I am also now sometimes seeing 4G+ in the top right notifications panel.
