Recently joined iD Mobile and requested my number to be ported from Vodafone. Upon receiving the text message from iD to state that the number was ported, I went into my iPhone settings under Phone > My Number (as this was still showing the iD Number) - the +44 prefix is included.I have performed the following steps and I am unable to get iMessage and FaceTime to activate:Turn off iMessage and FaceTime in Settings Reset phone Confirmed my telephone number is correct in Settings > Phone > My Number (i.e. showing the ported number) Turned iMessage and FaceTime back onUpon immediately turning iMessage/FaceTime back on, the following error appears “An error occurred during activation. Try again.”In the Send & Receive options, I am able to use my Apple ID - however when selecting my ported number pops up the error message.I have tried both on WiFi and on 4G.Can someone please assist as I’ve not had this issue when switching before (usually just updating the number works).Thanks
Hi,I’ve done the process of inputting my PAC code into the switching webpage on Sunday 14th August.My old sim has now deactivated today.However my new sim is still showing the number supplied by ID, rather than my old number.Please help?Many thanks, Nicole
My phone was stolen on holidays on the 15th of may and then I blocked the sim when I came home I cancelled the contract and was told I would have my final bill and then cancel my direct debit . Had another bill and payed and spoke to chatbot and they said that was alright and then cancelled my direct debit . I have now received anther bill . witch will not be paid as the direct debit is cancelled .A bit of clarification please .
I am the account holder for 4 lines. We deactivated them in Egypt where roaming would be charged but then reactivated now that we're in spain. Two of them activated, the others didn't. When we try to reactivate them, it says 'activation failed'. How do we reactivate the two sims again?
Hello please can anyone help , first sim ordered didn’t work got a replacement, but think I thrown away my replacement one been charged £16 x2 but have been unable to use any of sims sent but need a new one sim that is and extremely unhappy with chat as don’t have sim can’t receive security code to register my account please someone help as this is a complete joke 3 weeks been on chat with no resultions , but if I’ve paid 2 months but not been able to use sim is another joke please advise me not very technical thank you
I posted a question on the forum asking for help with the dreadful data rate on 3G and 4G in Caister on Sea (NR30). I get a great data rate of c.40Mbps when away from Caister but only 23-200Kbps when at home. I’ve measured this with SpeedTest and Fast with the same results.A couple of days ago I had an email to tell me that “Good news! Tom has commented on your topic:Very slow data - NR30. (https://community.idmobile.co.uk/topic/show?tid=48794&postid=113110)”. When I click on the link to view the comment, I get a “Page not found” error. I tried the IDMobile community email address to get support but haven’t had a reply.The data connection is still dismal. Is there a solution to be had please?
Hi.. I am already a customer with ID but have swapped over from monthly to sim only. I want to keep my old number but all the help hints are if you are swapping networks. If I was to put my new sim In will it already be my old number or a new one?? Any help would be greatly appreciated .. thanks
Hi there, I have the Google pixel 6 Pro, that is only 3 months old and in the last few weeks there's been a rattling noise that has occurred, and since the noise the phone has become a lot more buggy. The phone has never been dropped and lives in a casetify case. I have been to the Haverfordwest Currys, and one of the staff said this is very irregular and should not be happening. But because his manger was not in today there is nothing he could do. Please could I have some help? I'd like it looked at or a replacement please. Many thanks Fin
Firstly I didn’t realise how difficult it would be to get ID to rectify an issue (definitely changing suppliers when contract ends). My Samsung decided to stop charging after 20 months of use. As I diabetic who relies on their phone to monitor their sugar levels this is more than a little troublesome. Cannot speak to anybody, so having to rely on a community page for help.
