Contract Question

My son has an older iPhone. He recently dropped it and the phone is unusable. The cost to fix is more than the phone is worth. He has a year left to run on his contract. Can we buy him another phone and put in the sim card, remaining on the contract or do we have to do something specific?

Hi @Aspiringvenus

You can buy new phone. As long as new phone will be unlocked it will work with iD Mobile and contract will continue as usual. There is nothing specific that needs to be done. Just remember to install iD Mobile app on the new phone and login with existing account registered to that contract for easy way to control it.
