I’m buying my 11 year old her first phone. How much data does she really need?

Considering that she is fairly young, she is unlikely to be fully active on social media. She probably wouldn't spend much time scrolling on various feeds, and might instead play games or watch YouTube video. Video streaming takes quite a lot of data, although not as much as continuous scrolling on social media. Therefore, I would recommend from 2-4 GB as a starting amount, then you can adjust from there with ID mobiles flexible plans. Hope I was helpful 🙂
