Can't register an account - no way to contact iDmobile either!

I received my SIM card last weekend, and I've been trying to register an account ever since.

My number, surname, and birthday are definitely all correct, but I consistently get an error message that says "Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again."

There is no solution to this in the FAQs, and the various community posts haven't really "solved" the problem, either. LiveChat is offline and has been the entire time I've had my SIM. I just tried phoning 7777, I was redirected to the community and livechat.

It's like an ouroboros of terrible customer experience.

Hello @urraca,

When you register, you'll need to make sure you're using the surname of the account holder as well as their date of birth.

The account holder is the person who purchased the contract not the intended user.
For the number, enter the iD Mobile number on the SIM, not the number you intend to keep.

If you've done this and it's still not working, then please email us as it's likely that the details were entered incorrectly when you submitted these during purchase.

We'll be able to assist with resolving this.

Mohammed
