More unwanted texts from (apparently) “My3”

I searched this community and it’s happened before. 
First text says I’ve signed up and here’s your password.  
Second text says account created but let them know if not you.
My mobile cannot tell me the number the text came from. 
Strangely, the url provided does seem to lead to the genuine My3 page! 

All this worried me so I spent most of this morning firstly trying to speak to someone at Three to confirm no account for my mobile. Then I eventually navigated a ‘live chat’ with iD to check no suspicious activity on my account. 

As far as I recall I’ve never had such texts from any other provider. 
I’m thinking the walls between iD and Three are a bit flimsy.

Hi @Macmanaman,

That message is likely to be an illegitimate text and the page it links you to could possibly be a phishing attempt to obtain Three customer details. I would suggest deleting the message or even blocking the sender beforehand if your phone has the option.
