New phone number not showing in my account

HI all, yesterday my number was ported over from tesco mobile, but my account shows my old id number and not my new number. Will this change automatically or do I need to change my number in my account manually. I can't see a way how to change it.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Hi @Tomh75

Your number should hopefully be updated on your account at some point as i had the same thing when i first ported. I would suggest testing your number by getting others to text, call etc and see if the messages are going through.

If this isn't resolved then i would suggest contacting iD via the phone to see what's going on.

HI Ryan, number hasn't changed yet. So I phoned customer support today and they said the number should change automatically in the next few days.

Very odd have you turned your mobile off and back on and checked again?
If you have an iPhone toggle iMessages off this can cause issues, wait a while and toggle it back on.

HI Kevin, no my old number is still showing in my account, I will give customer support a phone in the next couple of days again if it does not resolve itself.

When you make calls or send texts, are these being sent from your ported number or the old one still?
