New SIM card but no service
I recently moved to ID from O2 on a sim only basis. I have received my SIM card and placed into my phone (iphoneXS) and still no service. You ask me to register on the app but it asks for a code which is sent to your mobile. If you have no service this seems pointless as I’ll never receive it, I haven’t. Tried putting into flight mode as suggested, nothing, taken SiM out and cleaned and restarted, nothing. Online chat not available. iPhone was purchased outright so it can’t be locked to any network.Beginning to regret moving. Any help much appreciated as I go on holiday tomorrow and need my phone.

We're sorry to hear this! What it seems has happened, is the SIM card that you have there is not compatible with the newest generation of the iPhone, so we'll need to issue you with a certain SIM card which will work with the iPhone XS.
We'll need access to your mobile account to do this so please can you email us with your full name, full address, iD Mobile number and date of birth?
